    Description

    2 Slag glass ash trays, 1930's by Akro Agate.
    Both are marbled jadite. I love the leaf design with the stem shaped to hold one cigarette, very clever. These could also be used as individual candy dishes for a party.
    The are marked "Made in USA" with various numbers and has the flying crow.
    They are 4 & 1/4" long, 3 inches wide and 1 inch deep.
    These trays were made by the Akro Agate Company of Clarksburg, WV. Akro made various pieces of glass items and children's dish sets, from the early 1930's through 1951.
    When Japan started exporting children's plastic dish sets after the war, they stayed in business making marbles for a few more years.
