"The first shots of the war were fired by 4thBDE, 3rd ID Apache Longbows. The effects were devastating....." 3d Squadron, 7th U.S. Cavalry was deployed on March 20, 2003, as the lead element of the 3 ID crossing into Iraq. Seven silver stars were awarded to troopers of the 3-7 during this campaign. This is a "Must Have" book documenting this campaign.
