Concentric Ring
child's set in the original box.
Concentric Ring
sets were sold with Stacked Disc and Interior Panel teapots, sugars, and creamers. This set is complete and is boxed in its original container. The set consists of 4 dinner plates, 4 cups and saucers, 4 flat soup bowls, a teapot and lid, and a creamer and sugar with lid. Large-size  Akro child's sets often came with soup bowls. Unlike the small-size sets, sugar bowls in the large sets have lids.  This colorful is in
Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage.
This set has beautiful color. The box is in great shape.  It is used of course, but the color is great (some fading from age). There is a small tear on the flap that continues in to a crease on the box top.  This is visible in our photo. The box is marked "No. 3350-5 Gypsy Teaset." Akro Agate Concentric Ring / Concentric Rib
- (1930s) (Opaque White, Opaque Cream, Opaque Turquoise, Opaque Pumpkin, Opaque Yellow, Opaque Green, Opaque Blue Marble, Opaque Purple, Transparent Cobalt)
Sets of Concentric Ring children's dishes came in both large and small sizes. The sets were always boxed with Stacked Disc and Interior Panel teapots, sugars and creamers. Concentric Ring has fine horizontal lines which run around the outside of cups, and on the inside, or top of bowls, dinner plates, and saucers. This set came in multicolored opaque sets, and transparent cobalt blue. Concentric Ring is always well made. Akro Agate made another pattern (one of their less expensive lines of Akro Children's Dishes), called Concentric Rib. There is very little difference between the sets with exception of quality. Concentric Rib sets usually came in less vibrant colors and were boxed with Stacked Disc teapots, sugars, and creamers (these pieces are lacking interior panels)
