    Description

Cliftwood Pottery in Morton IL is best known for its drip glazes used on ceramic vases, pots, & animal figurines ca 1920-40.
The glaze on this vase is a bit unusual, banded with 4 colors - a rich blue, a light pink, a light gray, & a medium gray.
This vase is 5-1/2 inches tall & almost 4 inches wide at its widest point.  The flared top rim of the vase is 3-1/2 inches in diameter & the base/bottom is 2-1/2 inches in diameter.  There is no Cliftwood marking on the vase, but it probably originally had a paper label & the bottom is the typical dark yellow clay used by Cliftwood.  It is in very good vintage condition - no chips, hairlines, or crazing - but does have some tiny flea bites at the bottom rim.  Ships USPS.
