Indications
Ragadin is a cream specifically indicated for the treatment of skin lesions of the horse such as rhagades, cuts, abrasions, burns, scratches and even deep wounds.
How to use
There is no need to clean the wound before the first application. Before each subsequent application, thoroughly clean the wound with a clean cloth, removing any dead skin and any growths present. Apply a thick layer of Ragadin that completely covers the area to be treated. If possible, protect the treated area with a bandage. Reapply Ragadin daily until the hair has grown back.

Composition
Picric acid, beeswax, lanolin, aloe vera, honey, polyesters.
Picric Acid:
This acid has been used since ancient times for the treatment of burns, as it has a powerful ASTRINGENT and ANTI-SECTIVE effect. Currently it is used in solution for the preparation of creams and ointments for the treatment of wounds where there is a high probability of infection.
Beeswax:
substance secreted by bees, thanks to which they build the structures of the hives. Used for its EMOLLIENT, HYDROREPELLENT AND PROTECTIVE properties, facilitating secondary CYCATRICATION.
Lanoline:
is mistakenly considered a fat, this substance is instead a wax secreted by the skin of the sheep, which accumulates on the fleece as a protective and emollient for the animal. Refined, it is then used for its moisturizing, EMOLLIENT and PROTECTIVE properties, and it does not alter the skin's pH and does not rancidise. It is aseptic, so it does not promote the onset of infections and absorbs very quickly.
Aloe Vera:
The juice and gel obtained from this plant have many beneficial properties. As far as the use in skin preparations is concerned, this plant is very appreciated for its ANTINFIAMMATORY and ANTIDOLORYPHIC effect. It is also used in bacterial dermatitis for its antibacterial effect. Stimulates and accelerates the regeneration of tissue cells, promoting CYCATRICATION. Finally, it is a LENITIVE and REFRECTIVE substance, excellent in case of skin inflammation.
HONEY:
substance formed almost exclusively of sugars with a very high concentration of fructose, has been used for centuries in preparations for topical use for its ANTIBIOTIC and ANTINFIAMMATORY activity. It is also very rich in polyphenols and for this reason is considered an excellent natural antioxidant.
