Sebring Ohio Pottery Art Deco Gale Turnbull Leigh Artware Wall Pocket C 1929

Description

Pictured is a ceramic wall pocket-vase with one main compartment and 5 additional openings.
It is an exceptional example
of Sebring Pottery's difficult to acquire Leigh Artware. This Art Deco
design is circa 1928-1935. The design was created
by Gale Turnbull who later became the art director for Vernon Kilns of California.The condition is used but atypically good
for a piece that is approx. 90 yrs old. The glaze is free of crazing. There are no cracks or repairs. There is a chip at he hole
where the wall pocket would be secured. Please see the last picture to view that. The dimensions are : Approx 12 1/2 inches
tall, approx 6 1/2 inches wide at the
widest point.

USPS Priority Mail with insurance to meet the selling price and an add on of special fragile handling.
My experience has been that the special fragile handling has also helped the packages arrive faster than regular
