Vintage Akro Agate Mortar & Pestle JVCo Inc Apothecary Powder Jar Milk Glass
Shape of a mortar and pestle used by apothecaries or pharmacies.
I believe this is an old powder jar ladies would have on their vanity table.
Note the edge of jar is almost translucent and looks blue with flash photography. (much like petalware)
Circa guess is the 1920s
Original cold painted on floral design is more than 50% worn away.
No chips, cracks, roughness, fleabites, repairs, or stains.
