VTG Chilmark Pottery VASE Embossed BUTTERFLIES ~ 11 in Tall, Greens and Tan

Description

This beautiful 11-inch vase by Chilmark Pottery (West Tisbury, MA), is unique -- I was unable to find another one like it!  It is primarily green, with a brighter, different shade of green and a little bit of tan accenting the embossed butterflies found on opposing sides. The brighter green can also be found near the base, which has the Chilmark Pottery stamp.
The top is 3 3/4" across, as measured from the outer edge of the rim (it is thick). Down 1 1/2" from the rim, the vase expands, and then gradually tapers down to the base, which is 3 1/2" in diameter.  It is approximately 18" in circumference at its widest point.
There are NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS. There is considerable crazing. There are some lines of discoloration, and some flea bites/glaze pops. The glaze still has a nice shine to it;  the interior looks great, too.
The pictures -- considered to be part of this description -- show a 360° view of the vase. Even with the crazing, this presents very well and is, IMHO, a beautiful example of American pottery at its finest.
